What do you love about R CITY?

I love that we give kids a safe space to go after school and during the summer, but we also give kids a space to explore career. We let them figure out what they like, but they can also see what it is like to have a career through Harambee or R CITY Print Shop.

What is something/someone that helped you move along the path from cradle to career?

My mom has always encouraged my love for writing since I was a little kid. Whether it was taking me to the library to get a ton of books, taking me to different writing classes, or helping me whatever way I can to pursue journalism she has always been supportive of my love for writing.
